Your kind disposition and patience put us immediately at ease.  We appreciate you taking the time to work with, not just our son, but us as well.  We truely believe that Caleb would not be where he is today with out all we learned from you.

The songs, music, books and play activities made working with Caleb more fun for him.  He didn't even know he was getting speech therapy or learning.  He thought he was just playing and having fun.

The information you have taught us has been very helpful.  I never recognized the learning moments in our day.  I now know how to put more language into everything I do so my son can learn better.

Other speech therapists have worked with our son but never took the time to show us all the things we could be doing when she 's not here.

All of the strategies were easy to use and you gave such good feedback, so we knew we were doing all we could do.

Thank you Kim!

I wanted to take a moment and tell you how much attending your Little Hands sign language class has meant to us.  Two days after attending your first class my 14 month daughter, Karissa, signed "daddy".  She now says 45 words and signs 20 words.  She signed "butterfly" yesterday.  She even says a few sentences, such as "what is this?" and "who is this?".

After attending your class Karissa brought her picture book to me.  She pointed to a fish.  I said & signed "fish".  She immediately said "ishh" and replicated it's sign.  She went on to continue to point to various pictures & I said & signed the words. She said & signed 3 new words, just sitting there in the middle of the kitchen floor.

Before I would repeat, repeat, repeat the words with a little success. Now she carefully watches my mouth and my hands.  It is as if she now understands language.  Very powerful.  I firmly believe that sign language has increased her ability to learn.

You are a wonderful teacher.  You really make learning fun.  I am so glad I had the opportunity to attend your class.

Sign Language is a phenomenal tool that has seen a resurgence.  All pediatricians should look into it, not only for language delayed children but also for typically developing children.  Sign Language enhances verbal language and facilitates early reading skills.
